Abstract Most of the functions of hydraulic pressure in the present machine tools are to maintain the pressure at the time of clamping. For this reason there is a lot of energy loss for the work load of hydraulic pressure. But an air hydro booster for this system is used to accumulate the hydraulic energy and thus makes it possible to maintain the original pressure with the motor at its rest, contributing to drastic energy saving.
