| Abstract | TOYOPUC-PCS, for which JTEKT acquired the certifi cation of the conformity to the international safety standard from the notify body for the fi rst time in Japan, is a safety programmable logic controller (PLC) for machine safety. The machine safety was performed by relay control conventionally, but it can realize space-saving and superior maintainability of equipment with improved reliability of the safety system by using TOYOPUC-PCS. Further safety communication by optical fiber enables dispersion placement of the input/output (I/O) and can secure wiring-saving. |
