Engine starting requires an energy storage device that can operate at high output and in low temperature environments. The use of high heat-resistant lithium-ion capacitors (Libuddy), which feature high output and long life, makes power supplies smaller, lighter, and maintenance-free compared to conventional lead-acid batteries.
