Realization of Safe and Secure Automated driving

Realization of safe and secure automated driving to ensure the safety of AD/ADAS systems, redundancy (backup) is necessary in case of power failure. Backup power supplies that hold a full charge (float charge) tend to deteriorate easily. By using high heat-resistant lithium-ion capacitors (Libuddy), which have excellent float charge resistance, system reliability can be improved and maintenance free can be realized.

Parallel use of long-life, high heat-resistant lithium-ion capacitors (Libuddy) in auxiliary power supplies not only makes auxiliary power supplies maintenance-free, but also contributes to improving the life of auxiliary batteries (load reduction) by absorbing steep output fluctuations (rush power and regenerative power during startup). It also enables stable system startup due to its superior low-temperature output performance and eco-friendly vehicle design by eliminating environmentally hazardous substances.
