| 要旨 | This paper describes grinding simulation technology to establish the generating mechanism of chatter and grinding burn. This technology is consisted of two modules based on grinding process. The chatter prediction module can accurately predict chatter by analyzing the grinding force from the interference area of wheel and workpiece. The grinding burn prediction module can predict burn by calculating the distribution factor of grinding heat in detail. The validity of both modules is verified by comparing the simulated results to the experimental ones. |
