Employee -management communication

JTEKT values the communication between labor Employees (including members of the Labor Union) and management, and provides numerous opportunities for direct dialogue between Employees and management, including various roundtable meetings and councils, both company-wide and at the business headquarters, plants, and workplaces. Employees and management exchange opinions with the goal of corporate development and the stabilization and improvement of employees' lives, deepening mutual trust and understanding and building stronger labor-management relations.

Employee-management dialogue (held in FY2023)

  • Central labor-management roundtable meetings and spring labor-management council meetings (six times in total)
  • Labor-management meetings by headquarters (1-4 times)
  • Monthly labor-management meetings at each business site
  • Monthly production subcommittee meetings at each plant
  • Workplace meetings (as needed, at each workplace), etc.
  • Labor-management committee (5 times)

Initiatives Related to Paid Leave and Working Hours

JTEKT creates an environment that facilitates the use of paid leave. Employees and management cooperate to regularly check the status of paid leave utilization and promote improvement in the utilization rate.
